Painter and printmaker with an interest in marine and still life subjects. He was born in London, son of the watercolourist James Greig, and studied at Southend College of Art. He is best known for his paintings of the coast, rivers and villages of the South Hams Devon near Salcombe. He was as elected a member of Royal Society of Marine Artists in 1967, and won a gold medal at Paris Salon.
Lived in Woodleigh, Devon. He also exhibited at:
Royal Institute of Watercolour Painters,
New English Art Club
Royal Society of Marine Artists.
The National Maritime Museum holds examples of his work.
